Curriculum Vitae     
 
After high school, Jose Angel Torres served as a medic in the United States Army and as a combat medic during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Subsequently he graduated from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, Hawaii with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Later he earned a Master of Science in Nursing and a Post Master's Certificate from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, Texas obtaining the degrees of Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Practitioner both specializing in Emergency Care.
