The disappointment continues...

Waiting to see the next patient, the triage nurse entered the treatment room I see patients in to ask, “Are you okay with this mother and toddler being seen by the physician for flu-like symptoms?” The request was of the parent and not that the nurse thought I could not manage the family plan. My answer to the nurse without seeing the patients was, “Fine with me I am still going to get paid.”
